Operator: Aeronaves de Mexico

In February 1957, 2 L-049s were leased from Pan American to replace the DC-4s on the Mexico City-Guadalajara-Tijuana route. The leased Connies also operated the Mexico City-New York route , before the Britannias took over in December 1957. Aeronaves purchased 3 L-749As from Air India which returned the L-049s to Pan American for Panair do Brasil. By 1960 the remaining Connies had been sold, and Britannias had taken over the remaining routes previously flown by the Constellations.
