Operator: Guest Aerovias Mexico

Aerovias Guest ordered 2 L-749s in mid 1947 though only one was used in 1948. After renaming the company to Guest Aerovias Mexico in 1954 two L-749As were bought from Qantas and used until DC-6 took over the routes to Miami and Panama. In September 3 L-1049Gs were bought via SAS. The Super G’s replaced the DC-6 from March 1960. Also transatlantic flights to Paris were conducted to present their Connies to potential Overseas customers. DH.106 Comet4Cs replaced the Super Connies in March 1961. All the Connies were sold and the company was taken over by government in early 1962 and merged with Aeronaves de Mexico in mid 1962.
