Operator: Royal Air Maroc

Formed in 1953 from the merger of Air Atlas and Air Maroc. Already as Air Atlas-Air maroc, the company had leased Air France Super Constellations occasionally with full titling for the use of the Sultan of Morocco. In October 1957, Royal Air Maroc received its first L-749A from Air France in order to replace DC-4sa on international routes. 3 more L-749As were bought in the beginning of 1960, by which time the Connies were used on most of the international routes. The Constellation fleet was reduced to 2 aircraft in 1964. The conies continued until June 1967, when the last scheduled international passenger flight was made by Royal Air Maroc. Scheduled cargo operations continued until June 1970, when the final Constellation was withdrawn. In late 1981 one Connie was still in use for training of mechanics etc.
